Robert Hite combines his easygoing, genuine demeanor with a high level of industry expertise that is appreciated by his growing clientele. As a top-20 producer at his previous brokerage and a former National Basketball Association (NBA) star himself, Robert knows that sports and entertainment clients have unique needs and demands. His international network proves that he meets and exceeds the expectations of those looking for luxury property in South Florida. A competitive and tenacious spirit helped Robert rise to the pinnacle of his sport. He debuted his rookie year with the Miami Heat before playing in professional leagues in Turkey, Israel, and across Europe.
The traits that made him a leader in the sport, such as having the discipline and a strong work ethic, have also helped him succeed in real estate. He understands the discretion and confidentiality that elite clients need and takes the time to learn what they’re looking for in a home, so he can find the luxurious property that fulfills their desires. This strategy helped him sell the top penthouse of One Thousand Museum in Miami to David and Victoria Beckham and is helping him meet his goal of being one of the leading names in South Florida real estate. Robert’s first experiences with real estate came when he was growing up in Cincinnati, Ohio. Watching his parents go through the process of buying and selling homes piqued his interest, and he later took note as they built two houses from the ground up.
When it was time to retire from basketball, Robert remembered his early interest and quickly built a flourishing career helping people navigate the real estate market. Robert uses his influence to give back to his community. Guided by his motto, “Progress, not perfection,” Robert founded two nonprofits, Flight Academy School and Ibel13ve, to help youth prepare for life and create a mindset for success. As Robert’s accomplishments continue to grow, he’s become an ideal role model for the program.
